CEO Dialogue Event

Started in 2012, the CEO Dialogue is a signature event in the Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø Alumni calendar. Every year, we invite two to three C-suite alumni to join the Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø CEO in sharing their views and insights on trending topics in industry and education. Event format is a moderated panel dialogue whereby the panellists exchange views with each other as well as the audience.

Topics in previous years have revolved around leadership, innovation, disruption, and future economy.

Past Events

Catch up on past years’ CEO Dialogue.

As the world grapples daily with pandemic inoculation, governments are busy transforming domestic industries through digitalisation as the way forward in economic recovery. Besides changing mindsets and adopting digital tools, the nature of the workplace itself has evolved into a hybrid model of reduced physical interactions and increased virtual work.

Digitalising businesses and retraining workers have become critical for companies to pivot for survival, to brace for future economic disruptions or another pandemic. In the post-pandemic future of work, the need for continual reskilling and upskilling has highlighted the importance and relevance of learner programmes by providers like Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø and UOL.

As Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø and UOL celebrate 35 years of higher education partnership, we look at how continuing education programmes and upskilling courses prepare students and alumni PMEs for the future of work. We will also examine digital competencies and skillsets that employers look in graduate hires for the digital economy and digitalised workplace.
