Regulatory Compliance & Student Protection

Private Education Act

The Private Education Act (PE Act) was legislated in December 2009 to regulate the private education institutions (PEIs) in Singapore. Under the PE Act and its subsidiary legislation, the regulatory regime comprises the Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF) and the EduTrust Certification Scheme, both administered by the Skills and Workforce Developement Agency (SWDA), which was formed on 1 Jul 2026 through the merger of SkillsFuture SIngapore (SSG) and Workforce Singapore (WSG), and now performs SSG's former functions and powers under the PE Act.

All PEIs must comply with these regulations to continue operations.

ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ Pte Ltd (ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ PL) has put in place the following:

PEI-Student Contract

SWDA, in aiming to enhance the confidence of students and their parents in the quality of education in Singapore, has stipulated that all PEIs must enter into a PEI-Student Contract with students.

The contract sets out the terms and conditions governing the relationship between the student and PEI. ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ PL will honour all terms and conditions in the contract and in all communication materials. Students may request a copy of the PEI-Student Contract from ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ PL or view it on the .

Cooling-Off Period

There will be a cooling-off period of 10 calendar days commencing from and including the acceptance date of the PEI-Student Contract.  Students have the right to cancel the contract within the 10 calendar days and be refunded all the Course Fees and Miscellaneous Fees already paid if the students submit written notice of withdrawal to ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ PL within the cooling off period  After the cooling-off period, ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ PL’s refund policy will apply.

Fee Protection Scheme

ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ PL adopts a mandatory Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) to protect the paid fees of both local and international students. The FPS serves to protect the student’s fees in the event that the PEI is unable to continue operations due to insolvency, and/or regulatory closure. In addition, the FPS protects the student if the PEI fails to pay penalties or return fees to the student arising from judgments made against it by the Singapore courts.

ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ PL has appointed Lonpac Insurance Bhd (Lonpac) as our FPS insurance provider. Under the FPS insurance scheme, students’ fees will be insured by Lonpac. In case of events as stated above, students will be able to claim their paid fees from Lonpac.

More details of the FPS can also be found in the FPS Instruction Manual, available at
