Enhanced Financial Aid (Bursary)
This bursary aims to provide financial assistance to needy students studying at ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ Global Education (GE).
- Tuition fees coverage of up to S$13,500 for Singapore Citizen, or up to S$6,000 for Singapore Permanent Resident, tenable for one year of study
- Open to Full-time / Part-time ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ GE students pursuing Undergraduate programmes
- No repayment required
ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ GE Crisis Fund
This Crisis Fund aims to provide emergency financial support to needy students studying at ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ Global Education (GE).
- Value of the fund up to S$5,000 for each eligible student
- Open to Full-time / Part-time ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ GE students pursuing Foundation, Diploma, Undergraduate or Postgraduate programmes, excluding those who are currently in Bridging / Preparatory / Certificate in English course
- No repayment required

At the Dr. Richard K. M. Eu-ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ Social Entrepreneurship Centre (RESSEC), we believe that a student’s potential to shape a better world should never be limited by their starting point. Every young person with a heart to serve deserves an equal opportunity to lead, innovate, and create lasting social impact.
If you are actively dedicating your time to volunteering, or if you are running a social enterprise to uplift communities, we want to support your journey. We are looking for up to 15 passionate students to receive our financial commitment of up to S$10,000 (disbursed in two tranches) to help ease your financial responsibilities so you can focus on what truly matters: growing as a future changemaker.
Eligibility Criteria
We encourage all eligible ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘GE students who embody the spirit of service to apply:
- Nationality: Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Household Income: Per Capita Income (PCI)* of up to S$1,750 (Priority will be given to applicants with a PCI of S$1,000 or less).
- Track Record of Impact: Demonstrate active and regular participation in community projects or the running of a social enterprise.
- Academic Timeline**: Have at least 12 months remaining in your full-time or part-time programme duration at the time of application. Students on Leave of Absence will not be considered..
*PCI is computed based on the average monthly gross household income divided by the total number of household members living in the same residential address
**Calculation of programme duration stops at the last lecture/tutorial date according to the class schedules published in ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘Connect, not inclusive of exam periods and waiting time for results release.

- Household Income Verification: For ALL household members living at the same address:
- CPF statements showing transactions for the recent 12 months AND
- If employed: Itemised payslips.
- If self-employed or retired: Latest Income Tax Assessment Notices.
- Proof of Community Impact: Testimonials or certificates from your school, non-profit organizations, or community leaders highlighting your service contributions.
- Academic Records:
- Commencing Students: Certificate and transcript of your prior qualification.
- Continuing Students: Most recent transcript of your current diploma or university programme.
Previous Support: Your past ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ GE bursary award notification (if applicable).

Important Information
- Bank Details: Please ensure your bank account details are fully updated in ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘Connect before submitting your application.
- Fees & Enrollment: Awardees must pay their course fees in FULL and have an active enrollment before the bursary funds can be officially disbursed.
- Publicity: Awardees must consent to ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ featuring their social impact stories to inspire the wider student community.
- Milestone Requirements: To qualify for the second tranche payment, awardees must:
- submit a learning journal;
- complete a self-development module online;
- attend at least 60% of RESSEC events;
- volunteer at one RESSEC event; and
- deliver a presentation by 1 March 2027 showcasing the key deliverables and impact of their community project or social enterprise.
Refund Policy: The bursary must be refunded in part or in full if the awardee discontinues their studies within one month of disbursement or any failure in adherence to the spirit of the award.

Award Value
The award amount is determined by the ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ Study Abroad Award Selection Panel, based on academic merits, Per Capita Income (PCI) tiered financial need, and active involvement in ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ student life and community engagement. Please note that not all eligible applicants are guaranteed an award. Applicants who fall under Tier 1 may be considered under Tier 2 should Tier 1 be oversubscribed.

Definition of PCI:
PCI = Total Gross Monthly Household Income ÷ Number of Household Members
(Gross income includes salary before CPF, overtime, allowances, bonuses, commissions.)
The award covers return economy airfare and basic accommodation, subject to terms and conditions, and are given on a reimbursement basis, up to the approved awarded cap and not exceeding the actual eligible expenses.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all the following requirements:
- Be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
- Be a current ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ GE student pursuing an eligible undergraduate programme listed in Table 1
- Have enrolled and commenced classes
- Be formally accepted into an approved exchange, study abroad, summer school, or immersion programme.
- Fall within the PCI bracket of $3,000 or below
- Demonstrate strong academic performance
- Possess outstanding records or show active involvement in ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ student life and community engagement. External volunteering is considered a bonus but does not replace ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ based involvement.
- Maintain good conduct with no serious disciplinary cases

Tenure Period and Conditions
- The award is tenable only for the duration of the approved study abroad programme at the designated universities.
- No repayment is required unless the student discontinues the study abroad programme, or breaches any of the terms and conditions stated in the ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ Study Abroad Award Agreement, in which case a partial or full refund may be imposed.
- Awardees need to successfully complete the study abroad programme.
- Awardees are to serve as Student Ambassadors at ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ GE Open Houses, Education Fairs and/or other events.
- Awardees are to serve as Peer/Alumni Mentors/Ambassadors for a minimum period to be determined by the Sponsor in one of the ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ mentoring programmes, such as Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) leaders, ISO Buddies, Student Learning Assistants, etc.
- Awardees are expected to support ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ marketing efforts by contributing photographs, video and other recordings relating to the ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ Study Abroad Programmes.
