Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø rebrands to reflect its refreshed mission to future-proof the workforce and to deliver positive impact for learners
The new face of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø, which is visible across its website, materials and social channels from today, features the tagline ‘Learn for Life, Thrive for Life’, with a vibrant red and blue colour palette. The colour red represents the ‘little red dot’ while the blue is a nod toward the future. Further, circular and triangular elements reflect Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø’s well-rounded approach to education, as well as its drive to help all learners reach their peak potential and to go higher in their pursuits of self-defined success.

Retracing the history of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø since its inception in 1964, Ms Euleen Goh, Chairman of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø Board of Directors, emphasised that Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø’s “social purpose has always been to enable individuals – with or without the means – to have access to the best learning programmes to improve and keep improving their socio-economic outcomes, as well as the economic outcomes of the organisations they serve”.
Against a backdrop of constantly evolving environment, Ms Goh said that Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø must remain fully committed to harnessing new knowledge, skills and technology, as well as leveraging its ecosystems to enable all learners, from young undergraduates to working adults, to pursue continuous learning and professional development, and corporates to achieve sustained excellence through talent development.
Reiterating Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø’s raison d’être, Mr Seah Chin Siong, President and Chief Executive Officer of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø, shared that Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø has always been inspiring inspiring learners to thrive in life through lifelong learning.
On how Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø will achieve its refreshed mission to empower learners to be future-ready as Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø pivots to being “industry-focused, skills-based and learner-centred”, Mr Seah went on to cite a series of exciting initiatives that Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø has embarked on. These included the launch of the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø Learner Advisory and Career Centre, the Centre for Micro-Credentials, and the Centre for Systems Leadership to help and guide learners on their path to success by equipping them with industry-relevant knowledge and skills. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø’s SGUnited Jobs and Skills programmes have facilitated mid-career learners to get job placements while new partnerships with companies such as M1 and NCS will ensure they are able to grow and retain their talent with Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø’s training and academic programmes. In addition, a new series of C-suite programmes will be launched within these two years to inspire senior management executives with leadership tools to effect change within their organisations.

The new Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø look comes as many industries have undergone rapid transformation brought about by accelerated technological innovation and increased automation. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø hopes to prepare learners for the future by equipping them with lifelong skills to be agile and resilient so that they not only can advance in their professional careers, but also deliver positive outcomes for the organisations they work in and throughout the wider community.
