Xin Chào! We have just wrapped up the first overseas Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø60 Celebration on 28 June 2024, at Pullman Hanoi, marking our exciting stop in Vietnam. It was a joyous occasion reconnecting with our Hanoi alumni for the first time since 2018. 


The event kicked off with a warm welcome from Mr. Gerald Lum, Director of Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø Brand, Marketing, and Communications, who shared insights on the launch of our refreshed branding in Vietnam and highlighted Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø's social purpose with all attendees. 

We are honoured to have Prof. Wei Kwok Kee, Provost of Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø, announce several key initiatives: 

• The opening of a Representation Office in Hanoi 

• The launch of micro-credential courses starting in October 2024 

• The launch of the OAC Pro Tem Committee in Hanoi 

Mr. Giang, President of OAC Hanoi, and Ms. Avy, Secretary of OAC Hanoi, proudly received their Certificates of Appointment, marking a significant step forward for our alumni community. We look forward to the upcoming events organized by the committee. Your support and sharing of this great news with your Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø peers would be greatly appreciated. 

Following the event, attendees enjoyed a sumptuous dinner showcasing a delightful selection of local and international cuisines. The evening was lively with laughter and camaraderie, as guests engaged in icebreaking games such as bingo and a Slido quiz, fostering networking opportunities among everyone present. 

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø60 celebration in Hanoi was not just a commemoration of the past but also a monumental milestone to the future. This event highlighted the enduring bonds among the Vietnamese alumni and their unwavering support for the institute. As Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø continues to grow and evolve, the strong network of alumni worldwide will undoubtedly play a crucial role in its ongoing success.
